Installation position: At branch take-offs from a main pipeline and where trunk networks connect to districts, buildings, stormwater lines or wastewater branches.
Purpose: Divides one main line into multiple branch pipelines.
Problem solved: Distributes or collects flow between the trunk network, service areas and end users to form a practical branch network.
Selection and procurement checks
State whether a tee is equal or reducing and specify all three openings. Branch direction, main and branch wall thicknesses, and end forms should match the network drawing. Check interfaces to valve or equipment branches separately.

Quality and inspection documents
Please state whether the order requires a Mill Test Certificate (MTC/MTR), an EN 10204 type 3.1 inspection certificate, heat or batch traceability, or other inspection records. The document type, applicable material and availability must be confirmed for the specific order. EN 10204 type 3.2 involves additional independent inspection requirements and must be agreed separately before supply.
